THE BEGINNING

Amy Petts started choreographing at the age of 15, making various independent, self-produced projects, alongside her pre-vocational training at Phoenix Performing Arts in Canterbury, Kent. She went on to achieve a First Class Honours degree in Theatre Dance (Contemporary Dance) at the London Studio Centre, continuing to pursue her choreographic ideas alongside her studies.

Amy's creations range from full length stage-works, to music videos and live music gigs, with a central focus on audience and dancer interaction. Story-telling, emotion, passion/joy and communication are all at the heart of every work, and dancer satisfaction and fulfillment is of the utmost importance in all she does.
